Part-Time Sales Advisor

Location: Perthshire – Based between Mansfield Park (Scone), Park View (Guildtown), and our Main Office (Perth)
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Working Pattern: Including weekends and bank holidays
Salary: Dependent on availability and experience

About the Role

A&J Stephen Builders Ltd. is looking for a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Advisor to join our team.

Based across our Mansfield Park development in Scone, Park View development in Guildtown and our Main Office in Perth, the successful applicant will play an important role in supporting potential and existing clients throughout their home-buying journey.

This is a varied, people-focused role that requires someone who is organised, approachable and able to provide a high level of customer service while managing the administrative aspects of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting potential and existing clients throughout the home-buying process, including:

  • Responding to client enquiries and providing helpful, professional customer service.
  • Assisting clients through the various stages of purchasing their new home.
  • Completing, organising and securely storing relevant documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate and efficient records of client information.
  • Liaising closely with the Sales Team and other members of the business.
  • Assisting clients with design choices and selections for their new home.
  • Using internal booking and client management systems to maintain accurate information and records.
  • Supporting the Sales Team with general administration and day-to-day sales activities.
  • Helping to ensure clients receive a positive and professional experience throughout their journey with A&J Stephen Builders.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a friendly, natural and customer-focused approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Previous experience in sales and/or the new-build property industry would be advantageous, although this is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

The successful applicant should:

  • Be naturally customer-focused and committed to providing excellent service.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be organised, reliable and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Be confident dealing with clients and responding to queries.
  • Be computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
  • Be willing and able to learn the specific systems used within the role, including booking systems and systems for recording and managing client information.
  • Be flexible and willing to work across our Perthshire locations as required.
  • Be available to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Have access to a car and hold a full UK driving licence.

Working Hours & Salary

This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be flexible and available to work weekends and bank holidays. The successful applicant may be required to work across our developments in Scone and Guildtown, as well as our Main Office in Perth.

Salary will be dependent on availability and experience.
